registration details

upstate open studios (uos) invites artists to register for the first of our annual events. Partnering with Upstate Art Weekend, uos will take place on Saturday, July 19th and Sunday, July 20th, 2025. all studios must be open 11am - 6pm each day.

this event brings awareness to individual artist studios during Upstate Art Weekend. all artists must apply individually, even if you share a studio or a studio building.

all individual artists are eligible to register if their studio is located in one of these ten counties; Columbia, Delaware, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster or Westchester. 

all artists must be present in their studios during uos (Saturday, July 19th and Sunday, July 20th, 2025 from 11am to 6pm both days).

each studio must be accessible to, and easily located by, the general public.

artists will be promoted on this website and Upstate Art Weekend will promote uos as a partner event. a google map of all studios will be shared on this website in June.

we want this to be an accessible event, so there are options for the registration fee - please pay what you can. the fees contribute to the promotion and labor it takes to produce upstate open studios. the fee is non-refundable.
